Job summary

Jora Malaysia is seeking an accounting professional with a Bachelor’s degree in finance or accounting and 1+ year of experience. ACCA partial is encouraged. The role includes managing accounting functions, ensuring accurate books, and handling ledgers, reconciliations, and month‑end closing.

F&B exposure is a plus and the candidate should be able to learn quickly and meet deadlines. We welcome applicants with strong multitasking abilities and a proactive approach to maintain financial records

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or relevant field.
• ACCA partial holder encouraged to apply.
• At least 1 year of working experience in accounting.
• Experience in F&B environment is an added advantage.

Responsibilities

• Manage full accounting functions including audit and taxation.
• Maintain accurate bookkeeping data.
• Maintain full sets of accounts including ledgers, bank reconciliation, AP/AR, and month-end closing.
• Perform any other duties as required.

Tasks & responsibilities

Handle the full spectrum of the Finance and Accounting functions including Audit and Taxation matters.

Maintain and ensure the accuracy of bookkeeping data.

Handle and monitoring Company full sets of accounts including updating and verification of ledgers, bank reconciliation, AP, AR, month end closing into accounting system with speed and accuracy and proper file all the related documents.

To perform any other duties and responsibilities from time to time.
