Job summary

Samurai 2K Aerosol Limited is seeking an Account Executive to manage the full set of accounts, ensure timely month-end closings, and prepare monthly financial and management reports. You will liaise with internal teams and external auditors, perform reconciliations, monitor bank balances, and utilize the ERP system to support financial operations and resolve discrepancies.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and review set of accounts: AR, AP, GL.
• Ensure timely and accurate month-end closing.
• Prepare monthly reporting and management reports.
• Liaise with internal teams and external auditors during audits.
• Reconcile Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable.
• Analyse reports and resolve discrepancies.
• Be hands-on with ERP system and reporting tools.
• Prepare bank reconciliations and monitor daily balances.
• Handle ad-hoc assignments as required.

Job Purpose: The Account Executive is responsible for managing and maintaining the full set of accounts, ensuring timely and accurate month-end closings, and preparing monthly financial and management reports. This role involves liaising with internal teams and external auditors, performing account reconciliations, monitoring daily bank balances, and utilizing the ERP system to support financial operations and resolve discrepancies efficiently.

• 1 Prepare and review set of accounts : AR, AP, GL.
• 2 Ensure timely and accurate month-end closing
• 3 Preparation of monthly reporting / management report
• 4 Liaise with internal teams and external auditors during audits
• 5 Reconciliation of Accounts Receivable (AR) and Account Payable (AP) management
• 6 Analyse reports and resolve any discrepancies.
• 7 Be hands-on with ERP system and financial reporting tools (must be familiar with ERP system)
• Prepare bank reconciliation and monitor daily bank balances
• 8 Handle ad-hock assignments as requested by superiors

• 1 Minimum Diploma / Degree in accounting / Professional qualification (ACCA/CPA)
• 2 Minimum 2 year and above of accounting experience, equivalent fields will be considered
• 3 Excels in financial reporting and monthly closing processes
• 4 High proficiency in Microsoft Office & Accounting software, Proficient in ERP system is crucial.
• 5 Ability to work independently with minimum supervision and meet tight deadlines
• 6 Good communication skills for working across teams and external parties
• 7 Strong understanding of accounting principles, forecasting, costing and tax
