Job summary

Alam-Con Sdn Bhd in Ipoh is seeking an accounting professional to handle full set accounts and assist in budgeting and financial reporting. You will work with accuracy to prepare monthly statements and ensure timely closures.

The role requires 1–2 years of relevant experience, independence, and strong organization. Proficiency in AutoCount and UBS, plus English and Bahasa Malaysia skills; Mandarin adds advantage.

Qualifications

• Diploma/Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Minimum 1–2 years of relevant accounting experience.
• Experience in handling full set accounts will be an added advantage.
• Able to work independently and meet deadlines with minimal supervision.
• Proficient in AutoCount and UBS accounting software.
• Detail-oriented, responsible, and well-organized.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Language required: English & Bahasa Malaysia; Mandarin is an added advantage.

Responsibilities

• Handle full set or partial set of accounts, including AP, AR, and General Ledger.
• Prepare monthly financial statements, reports, and reconciliations.
• Manage invoices, payments, receipts, and bank reconciliations.
• Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and cost control activities.
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards, company policies, and statutory requirements.
• Liaise with auditors, tax agents, bankers, and relevant authorities when required.
• Support month-end and year-end closing activities.
• Perform other accounting and administrative duties as assigned.
