Job summary

Gamalux Oils, established in Malaysia, is hiring an Accounts Executive/Senior Accounts Executive to manage accounts receivable and treasury activities. You will monitor customer payments, maintain accurate ledgers, and support daily cash and banking operations, ensuring timely invoicing and reconciliations.

The role requires a degree in accounting or finance and 2–5 years’ related experience, with strong Excel skills and attention to detail.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Minimum 2–5 years of Accounts Receivable/Treasury experience.
• Proficient in Excel and accounting software.
• Strong numerical, analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Detail-oriented with good organisational skills.

• Manage and monitor customer accounts and outstanding balances.
• Issue invoices, credit notes, and related documents accurately and on time.
• Follow up with customers on overdue payments and reconcile discrepancies.
• Prepare AR ageing reports and monitor collection status.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and monitor customer accounts and outstanding balances
• Issue invoices, credit notes, and other related documents accurately and on time
• Follow up with customers on overdue payments and outstanding invoices
• Perform customer account reconciliations and resolve payment discrepancies
• Prepare AR ageing reports and monitor collection status
• Ensure all receipts and customer payments are properly recorded in the accounting system
• Assist in month-end closing and preparation of AR reports
• Monitor daily cash flow and bank balances
• Prepare and process payment requests and bank transactions
• Perform daily and monthly bank reconciliations

About you

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• Minimum 2–5 years of relevant working experience in Accounts Receivable/Treasury
• Knowledge of accounting principles and financial procedures
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and accounting software
• Good numerical, analytical, and problem‑solving skills
• Detail-oriented with strong organisational skills
• Able to work independently and meet deadlines
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
