Job summary

LXZ & Co Ipoh is seeking a diligent accounting associate to handle full sets of accounts for a diversified client portfolio. You will prepare monthly management accounts and financial statements, and perform bookkeeping to keep records accurate.

You will liaise with clients for documents, assist with tax computations and audits, and provide accounting and advisory support. The role requires teamwork, independence, and a proactive approach to meet deadlines.

Qualifications

• Diploma/Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 1-3 years of relevant accounting experience preferred.
• Familiar with SQL, AutoCount or similar accounting software.
• Good command of English and Bahasa Malaysia; Mandarin is an added advantage.
• Able to work independently and as part of a team; proactive and eager to learn.

Responsibilities

• Handle full sets of accounts for a portfolio of clients.
• Prepare monthly management accounts and financial statements.
• Perform bookkeeping and ensure records are accurate and up to date.
• Prepare bank reconciliations and other supporting schedules.
• Liaise with clients to obtain relevant documents.
• Assist in preparing tax computations and tax-related schedules.
• Assist with audit and statutory requirements as needed.
• Provide accounting and advisory support to clients.
• Identify accounting issues and communicate with seniors for solutions.
• Ensure all assignments are completed accurately and on time.
