Job summary

PUZZLE ARK SDN BHD in Sabah is seeking a dedicated Account Assistant to join our finance team. You will manage daily accounting operations, perform bank reconciliations, and maintain thorough documentation and filing records.

You will handle accounts receivable and accounts payable tasks, including invoicing, matching payments, generating statements, and verifying supplier invoices for timely payments. Opportunities for growth are available in a supportive environment.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily accounting operations and ledger entries promptly.
• Perform monthly bank reconciliations.
• Maintain proper documentation and filing records.
• Prepare and issue sales invoices, debit/credit notes, and receipts.
• Match customer payments to invoices and generate monthly Statements of Account.
• Verify supplier invoices and staff claims, ensuring validity for payment processing.
• Arrange payments to suppliers before due date and ensure adherence to procedures.
• Review creditor aging and reconcile against creditor statements.

Accounts Receivable

• Preparing and issuing sales invoices, debit/credit notes, and official receipts.
• Matching customer payments to their respective invoices.
• Generating monthly Statements of Account for customers.

Accounts Payable

• Verifying suppliers' invoices and staff claims, ensuring the documents are valid and complete for payment processing.
• Arranging payments to suppliers before the due date and ensuring adherence to accounting procedures.
• Reviewing the creditor aging report and reconciling it against the creditor statement.
