Job summary

Tata Consultancy Services, Asia Pacific, invites you to join our team as an Accessibility Tester for Mandarin and Cantonese language support in Kuala Lumpur. You will engage with project teams for manual testing requirements, understand the application architecture, and craft precise test cases to verify accessibility compliance.

The role requires strong English communication, knowledge of global accessibility standards (WCAG, EAA), and hands-on defect handling to mitigate issues.

Qualifications

• Understand global accessibility standards (WCAG, EAA, Canadian Rules).
• Hands-on defects handling and mitigation experience.
• Ability to articulate risks and advise on accessibility findings.
• Good communication in English and Mandarin/Cantonese to support clients.

Role: Accessibility Tester Mandarin and Cantonese Language Support

• Communicate with project team for Manual testing requirement and provide estimation


• Ascertain and understand application architecture involved in test


• Writing of test cases and test scenarios

Must Have Requirements:

• Understanding to legal groundings and rules or principles of accessibility across the globe (e.g. WCAG, EAA, Canadian Accessibility Rules)


• Hands-on defects / bugs handling experiences and how to mitigate them


• Risk articulation / consultancies on bugs outstanding or de-prioritized accessibility findings


• Understanding to Chinese accessibility rules an option


• Differentiation of accessibility rules between nations an option


• Good communication skills in English & Mandarin/Cantonese to support the client & market
