Chin Hin Construction Engineering Sdn. Bhd. is seeking a seasoned Electrical Engineer to plan and supervise the installation of 275kV/132kV GIS, transformers, and high-voltage cables.

You will review drawings, ensure safety and compliance, and coordinate with clients, consultants, and vendors in Malaysia. The role requires a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, 5+ years in HV substations or transmission, and hands-on experience with GIS/AIS switchgear.

Qualificações

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
• 5+ years in HV substation or transmission projects, with 132kV/275kV experience.
• Experience with GIS/AIS switchgear, HV cables, earthing, protection and control systems.
• Ability to interpret single-line diagrams and equipment layouts.
• Experience in site coordination, installation supervision, testing, and commissioning.
• Familiarity with IEC/IEEE standards and Malaysian electrical regulations.
• Proficient in AutoCAD and Microsoft Office.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Emphasis on safety and timely project delivery.

Responsabilidades

• Plan and manage installation of 275kV/132kV GIS, SF6 busducts, power transformers, 33kV cables, and earthing.
• Review drawings, specifications, method statements, and material submissions.
• Monitor site progress, workmanship, and compliance with schedules.
• Coordinate with clients, consultants, OEM vendors, utility providers, subcontractors, and suppliers.
• Support testing and commissioning activities for HV equipment and control systems.
• Review test reports and coordinate closure of defects.
• Ensure compliance with standards and regulations.
• Prepare progress reports, inspection records, and handover submissions.
• Coordinate permit-to-work and safety procedures.
• Support energisation planning and readiness reviews.
