Job summary

Cushman & Wakefield in Malaysia is seeking a RSOC Monitoring Analyst to support 24/7 security operations at the JOHOR data centre. You will monitor access control, CCTV, IDS, and safety systems, perform triage, and escalate incidents to the appropriate teams. Maintain incident logs and coordinate communications with stakeholders.

The role requires a Diploma, willingness to work rotating shifts, and strong situational awareness in critical infrastructure environments.

Qualifications

• Diploma holder or equivalent
• Experience in security operations is advantageous
• Basic understanding of physical security systems (ACS, CCTV, IDS) and data center operations
• Strong situational awareness and ability to perform structured triage
• Ability to follow escalation protocols with discipline and accuracy
• Willingness to work rotating shifts in a 24/7 environment

Responsibilities

• Monitor access control, video surveillance, intrusion detection, and safety/environmental alarm systems
• Perform initial triage and classify security, safety, and infrastructure events
• Escalate incidents to Security Operations, EHS, and IRC/Infrastructure teams
• Coordinate incident communications, notify stakeholders, track status, and maintain timelines
• Monitor infrastructure alerts and outages; maintain real-time situational awareness
• Maintain incident logs, reports and tracking records; adhere to SOPs and escalation models
• Provide 24/7 monitoring support with shift-based coverage
