Job summary

Zebra Technologies is seeking a motivated intern to join the Strategy & Optimization office in Malaysia. You will work with CSI Managers to enhance service delivery, apply AI tools, and drive process improvements across the organization.

The role emphasizes data analysis, documentation, and strategic support, offering hands-on experience and exposure to cutting-edge automation in a collaborative, hybrid environment.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a degree in IT, CS, AI, DS, or BA.
• Strong interest in process improvement, technology, and business strategy.

Responsibilities

• Identify, evaluate and implement AI and automation tools to reduce manual effort and streamline operations.
• Assist the CSI Managers with Continuous Improvement & Governance and track projects.
• Transform raw data into insights to uncover efficiency improvements.
• Support Strategy Assessment Framework with data collection and organization.
• Create and update essential documentation for processes and workflows.

What We're Looking For

We are seeking a motivated and innovative Intern to join our Strategy & Optimization office. In this role, you will work closely with our Continuous Service Improvement (CSI) Managers to enhance service delivery across the organization. This is a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in process improvement, data analysis, and strategy. You will play a key role in supporting the team by leveraging cutting-edge AI tools and automation to simplify workflows and drive efficiency.

• Identify, evaluate and implement AI and automation tools to reduce manual effort and streamline team operations.
• Assist the CSI Managers with the Continuous Improvement & Governance program by helping to track projects and prepare for review meetings.
• Transform raw data into insights by analyzing processes to uncover areas for improvement and drive greater efficiency.
• Contribute to the Strategy Assessment Framework by collecting and organizing data to support strategic decisions.
• Support the team by creating and updating essential documentation for all key processes and workflows.

Skills and Qualifications

Currently pursuing a degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, Business Analytics, or a related f ield.

A strong interest in process improvement, technology, and business strategy.

• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Familiarity with productivity tools (e.g., Microsoft Office Suite).
• A proactive and curious mindset with the ability to learn quickly.

• Experience with scripting languages (e.g., Python) or automation platforms.
• Familiarity with data analysis and visualization tools like Power BI.
• Basic understanding of IT Service Management (ITSM) concepts or the ITIL framework.
