The role requires experience in API development, middleware integration, and microservices, all while collaborating with diverse teams to optimize data flows. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, 3+ years of relevant experience, and a commitment to innovation and teamwork. This full-time role is based in Mexico.

About the Role

We are seeking a WSO2 Integration Developer / Specialist to design, build, and maintain enterprise integration solutions using WSO2 technologies. The ideal candidate has strong experience with API development, middleware integration, and microservices, and enjoys solving complex system connectivity challenges in scalable and secure ways. You will collaborate with architects, developers, and DevOps engineers to integrate internal and external systems, optimize data flows, and ensure seamless communication across platforms.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and deploy integration solutions using WSO2 Enterprise Integrator, WSO2 API Manager, and WSO2 Micro Integrator.
• Implement API-first architectures, including API publishing, throttling, security, and lifecycle management through WSO2 API Manager.
• Integrate applications and services using protocols such as REST, SOAP, JMS, and MQTT, ensuring high performance and reliability.
• Design and configure message mediation, transformations (XML/XSLT, JSON), and routing within the WSO2 ESB environment.
• Collaborate with backend and frontend teams to ensure seamless data exchange between systems.
• Configure and manage WSO2 Identity Server for authentication and authorization (OAuth2, SAML, JWT).
• Optimize system performance, troubleshoot issues, and ensure adherence to enterprise integration and security best practices.
• Automate build and deployment processes using CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps).
• Create and maintain technical documentation for integrations, APIs, and configurations.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
• 3+ years of experience with WSO2 platform (WSO2 Enterprise Integrator, API Manager, Micro Integrator).
• Strong understanding of SOAP, REST, and microservices architecture.
• Experience with API security standards (OAuth2, JWT, SAML, etc.).
• Familiarity with containerized deployments (Docker, Kubernetes) and CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience working with databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL, Oracle) and messaging systems (Kafka, ActiveMQ, RabbitMQ).
• Strong problem‑solving skills, attention to detail, and collaborative mindset.

Preferred Qualifications

• WSO2 Certified Integration Developer or related certification.
• Experience with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP) and hybrid integration.
• Knowledge of other integration tools (MuleSoft, Boomi, Apigee) is a plus.
• Familiarity with DevSecOps and API observability tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK).
