Kalypso is seeking a Senior Software Engineer in Monterrey, Mexico. You will handle design-driven development, data modeling, and API-based integrations across on-prem and cloud environments.

Ideal candidates have Oracle/SQL Server experience, strong problem solving, and a track record of collaborating with cross-functional teams and clients to deliver high-quality software solutions.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
• Experience with Oracle and/or MS SQL Server.
• Experience across Linux and Windows OS platforms.
• Understanding of software architecture and dev practices.
• Exposure to AWS and/or Azure cloud platforms.
• Able to learn quickly and solve problems with ambiguity.
• Willingness to travel and work with clients.

Responsabilidades

• Develop technical and functional specs from design and performance needs.
• Assist in data modeling and requirements mapping.
• Develop extensions and integrations using APIs.
• Ensure code quality via unit tests and reviews.
• Configure and customize systems at intermediate level.
• Install tools to support development and DevOps reporting.
• Provide client support including troubleshooting and upgrades.
• Perform data migration using ETL processes.

Location:Monterrey, Mexico

Main Responsibilities, but not limited to:

• Develop technical and functional specifications based on software design and performance
• Assist in the data modelingandrequirementsdefinitionmapping
• Development ofsoftwareextensions andintegrations using specific APIs
• Ensure quality of code by performing unit testing and code reviews
• Perform intermediate system configuration and customization
• Performintermediateinstallations of tools to support developmentEffective status reporting within DevOps tools
• Performsintermediate system administrative functions
• Provideclientsupport, including but not limitedto:troubleshooting, software upgrades and enhancements
• Perform Data Migration (Data Analysis, Manipulation and Migration using an ETLprocess)
• Commit tomeeting and exceedingcustomer service metrics,Service Level Agreements(SLA’s)
• Effective status reporting within the team and with the clients
• Manage requirements from multiple clientssimultaneously
• Work with multi-disciplinary and cross-cultural teams
• Contribute to internalinitiativesand tool building

Requirements & Qualifications:

• Degree in Computer Science, Digital Systems, Software Development, or related
• Experience with Oracle Database and/orMS SQL Server
• Experience working with differentOSplatforms,anyLinuxdistros and Windows
• Understanding ofapplication architecture
• Experience using leadingsoftware development practices,technicaldocumentation (requirements, functional specifications, test plans, etc.)
• ExposuretoAWS and/or Azure cloud
• Versatility, flexibility,and proactivity when resolving technical issues and dealing with ambiguity
• Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively and collaborate with clients, peers,and managers
• Personal commitment to quality and on-schedule delivery; proven ability to establish and meet milestones and deadlines
• Basic understanding of business requirements and the process of translating them into well-engineered and integrated technical solutions; attention to detail
• Willingness to travel
