The Wiring Systems Engineer at Stellantis NV will design and validate wire harness schematics, CAN network layouts, and fuse sizing while ensuring compliance with electrical specifications across vehicle environments. You will support PWB and manufacturing facilities throughout the life cycle and work with suppliers to optimize harness design.

You will lead architecture decisions, assess harness complexity, and drive VAVE/VO optimization, collaborating with cross-functional teams to meet product

Formación

• BS in Mechatronics, Electrical, Automotive or related field.
• 5 years in automotive product development.
• Experience in wiring design and release.
• DFMEA and DVP&R development and execution.
• Change management and BOM analysis.
• Good English, written and spoken.

Responsabilidades

• Administer wire harness schematics design and changes for a vehicle lifecycle.
• Determine wire harness architecture layout and CAN networks per specs.
• Determine wire attributes for all harness circuits.
• Determine fuse sizes/types based on electrical characteristics.
• Create harness complexity based on product planning.
• Generate harness design optimization ideas.
• Design and validate electrical systems to meet Stellantis specs.
• Assist wiring systems team with harness developments.
• Ensure design processes and specifications are followed.
• Support harness and electrical system troubleshooting at test facilities.
