Envision Energy seeks a Wind Turbine Commissioning Engineer to plan and execute commissioning for wind turbines and associated electrical systems. You will verify mechanical, electrical, and control interfaces meet OEM specs and project requirements.

The role requires hands-on testing, SCADA configuration, and completing documentation, with frequent travel to project sites and adherence to HSE standards.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Mechatronics, Renewable Energy, or related discipline.
• Typically 3+ years in wind turbine commissioning and electrical testing.
• Experience with major OEMs such as Vestas, Siemens Gamesa, GE Vernova, Nordex or Enercon.
• Certifications in safety/training (GWO BST/ART) preferred.
• Willingness to travel nationally/internationally.

Responsabilidades

• Perform onshore wind turbine commissioning including mechanical, electrical, and control systems.
• Execute energization, functional tests, and start-up procedures.
• Conduct insulation resistance, grounding, and protection relay tests.
• Configure turbine control systems and verify sensor calibration; remote monitoring testing.
• Complete commissioning checklists and handover documentation; ensure AFC.
• Uphold HSE requirements and lockout/tagout procedures; contribute to risk assessments.
• Coordinate with construction, electrical, mechanical, and operations teams to support milestones.
