is seeking a full-time WHS Specialist to serve as a designated safety representative for the assigned fulfillment center, coordinating and implementing the Amazon Global Safety Program under safety leadership. You will promote a positive safety culture, conduct trainings, and coach associates on safe work habits. Formación

• 2+ years of workplace health & safety (WHS) related field experience.
• Knowledge of OSHA regulations, specifically 29 CFR 1910.
• +1 year of maintaining confidentiality in security or personnel matters.

Responsabilidades

• Identify and inform management of compliance issues, risks, and improvement opportunities through audits (daily/weekly/monthly).
• Facilitate incident investigation process.
• Maintain required paperwork to comply with Amazon and regulations.
• Enter Incident Information in internal database in a timely manner.
• Train and assist others to complete their responsibilities (Audits, Follow Rules).
• Perform specific trainings as required by the Manager.
• Contribute to fire prevention, hazardous waste management, or related activities as needed.
• Participate in process improvement activities and manage actions to completion.

Educación

Bachelor's degree or equivalent
