FORVIA, a leading sustainable mobility technology group, seeks a Process Specialist with strong welding process expertise and a background in industrial/manufacturing engineering. You will drive process development, standardization, and tooling data management across programs and plants, aligning with PFMEA, control plans, and design guidelines.

The role requires hands-on experience with laser, resistance welding, and GMAW, plus familiarity with KUKA/ABB robotics and TRUMPF equipment.

Formación

• Diploma/ degree in industrial engineering or manufacturing engineering.
• 5 to 7 years of experience in laser welding, resistance welding, and GMAW (Gas Metal Arc Welding) processes.
• Experience in new program launches, including the development and implementation of PFMEA (Process Failure Mode and Effects Analysis), Control Plans, and Process Flow Diagrams.
• Experience in technical documentation, including parameter sheets and process documentation.
• Welding certification is highly desirable.
• GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing) interpretation.
• Experience with KUKA and ABB robotic systems.
• Experience with TRUMPF laser welding equipment.
• Cycle time calculation and cycle time balancing.
• SolidWorks
• CATIA
• Autodesk Inventor

Responsabilidades

• Support processes development and improvement, and validate product innovations.
• Ensure development and deployment of process standards, design checklist and guidelines, best practices.
• Support programs, plants and suppliers for process issues.
• Maintain a tooling and equipment database.
• Continuous improvement: contribute to continuous improvement of processes, tooling and equipment.
• Trouble shooting: Support production or parts suppliers to solve problems related to his/her field of expertise.
• Maintenance of series production: Engineering Change Management: Analyze, validate and implement process modifications related to his/her field of expertise. Maintain a local database of tooling and equipment to support capacity management.
• Program: Feedback existing status and plant’s recommendations for process issues. Participate to tooling and equipment follow-up and validations. Support reception and start-up of tooling and equipment.
• Standards and best practices: Ensure application of process standards. Identify best practices for his/her expertise network.
• Simultaneous Engineering. Ensure that checklists and guidelines for product design are applied.
