Aptiv PLC is seeking a Warranty/Quality Engineer to advance warranty processes for automotive customers. You will document flows, monitor performance, and coordinate cross-functional teams to address returns and root causes.

Strong leadership and English fluency are essential for collaboration with global clients. The role emphasizes data-driven analysis, cross-department coordination, and delivering cost-effective corrective actions to meet targets and uphold Aptiv’s safety and quality

Formación

• 5 years of experience in related roles.
• 5 years of experience in Automotive Industry.
• Advanced English required.
• Degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering.
• Strong communication and leadership skills.

Responsabilidades

• Document warranty process flow for each customer.
• Access warranty database when required.
• Track product field performance and monitor early returns.
• Handle all aspects of warranty returns, including logging in tracker and shipping to suppliers/customers.
• Coordinate return part analysis and resources for corrective actions.
• Generate pareto charts for analysis and actions.
• Document analysis reports for internal/external customers and lead reviews.
• Lead corrective actions effectiveness tracking.
• Share lessons learned across the organization.
• Provide cost estimates for warranty on quotes for new business.
• Validate warranty claims and dispute debits if required.
• Coordinate improvement plans to meet targets.
• Meet warranty budget for assigned products.
• Lead Warranty TNFs reduction projects.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Document warranty process flow for each customer.
• Access customer warranty database if required.
• Track product field performance and monitor early returns.
• Handle all aspects of warranty returns (log in tracker, move parts between teams, ship to suppliers/customers)
• Manage return part analysis, responsiveness and coordinate resources.
• Generate pareto charts for analysis and corrective actions.
• Document analysis reports for internal/external customers and lead reviews.
• Track and verify effectiveness of corrective actions.
• Document and share lessons learned to the organization.
• Provide costs estimates for warranty on quotes for new business.
• Validate warranty claims and dispute debits if required.
• Coordinate improvement plans to meet targets.
• Meet warranty budget for products assigned.
• Lead Warranty TNFs reduction projects.

REQUIRED SKILLS

• 5 years of experience in related roles
• 5 years of experience in Automotive Industry
• Advanced English
• Background in quality engineering, manufacturing engineering, operation management, program management or systems engineering.
• Electrical / Mechanical Engineering degree.
• Good communication skills - oral and written.
• Leadership and team skills.
• Ability to travel as necessary to support customers.

PREFERRED REQUIREMENTS

• Statistical analysis, reliability knowledge, product testing.
• Structured problem solving skills ((8D, Green Belt, 5 Why's).
• Utilize MS Office tools.
• Experience with automotive electronics and software products.
• Product experience (prefer electrical).
