Aptiv in Saltillo, Mexico is seeking an Assembly Quality Engineer to lead the plant's quality and reliability activities, ensuring products meet customer expectations, internal standards, and IATF 16949 requirements.

You will oversee the assembly quality team, drive continuous improvement, manage customer quality interactions, and implement robust processes to prevent and address non-conformities. This role offers growth in a global automotive technology environment.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Quality.
• +8 years of experience in manufacturing quality, automotive industry.
• Supervisory or team leadership experience required.
• English fluent.

Responsabilidades

• Lead activities to meet customer requirements and IATF 16949 standards.
• Coordinate the plant’s quality and reliability team.
• Lead activities to improve quality metrics such as customer complaints and cost of poor quality.
• Carry out administrative reviews as scheduled.
• Attend meetings with the global quality management team.
• Attend customer meetings.
• Provide daily follow-up on non-conforming product inventories.
• Perform analyses for responses to quality issues and customer complaints.
