A leading manufacturing company in San Juan del Río is seeking a Warehouse Team Lead to oversee the storage, supply, and dispatch of materials. The ideal candidate will have a degree in Chemical or Industrial Engineering and over 3 years of experience in warehouse and personnel management. Descripción del empleo

As Warehouse Team Lead you will ensure the storage, supply and dispatch of raw materials, intermediate materials and final product, and consumables to achieve the release of in-process materials, in-line adjustments and technical development tests, complying with the requirements of the quality management system and certified standards.

You will report to Warehouse Coordinator.

Key Responsibilities
  • Train personnel in the processes, procedures and work instructions that apply to the area, and in Continuous Improvement Methodologies and problem analysis and solution, so that personnel have the necessary tools to perform their work and are aware of the importance of meeting the requirements of internal clients.

  • You will prepare and update the documentation required by the Quality Systems.

  • Ensure the supply of materials to customer lines, technical laboratory, quality control laboratory and applications.

  • Ensure that free format instructions are kept up to date for supplies to be provided to the applications area.

  • Ensure that the central warehouse facilities and supplies are in good condition to comply with the tests and trials required by the area.

  • You will ensure that there are procedures and instructions for use, operation, calibration and verification of equipment.

  • Ensure that equipment, methods and consumables are updated for new releases.

  • Request inputs from relevant areas to ensure supply of applications.

Qualifications
  • University degree in Chemical or Industrial Engineering or a related field.

  • More than 3 years of experience in warehouse management and personnel management.

  • Manage warehouse indicators.

  • ISO 9000, IATF standards.

  • CT-PAT programs.

  • ORACLE/SAP applications.

  • Manage warehouses with more than 3,000 SKUs.

  • Inventory management and control tools, 5S, Continuous Improvement, and advanced Excel, Word, PowerPoint skills.
