Job summary

Formulated Automation is seeking a creative Video Editor for a US-based law-firm client. You will transform raw footage into polished social content for Instagram Reels, TikTok, and YouTube Shorts, while preserving brand guidelines and the attorneys' meaning.

You will work with the Marketing Manager to deliver consistent weekly short-form videos and longer videos for repurposing, using Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve, CapCut, and basic motion graphics.

Qualifications

• Portfolio showing short-form social media edits (Reels/TikTok/YouTube Shorts).
• Proficient in Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve or CapCut.
• Strong sense of pacing, hooks, and storytelling for social media.
• Solid audio cleanup and basic color correction.
• Comfort with AI-assisted captions, transcription, and rough cuts.
• Strong English comprehension and reliable deadline management.
• Prefer experience with motion graphics and talking-head formats.

Responsibilities

• Edit short-form videos for Instagram Reels, TikTok, and YouTube Shorts with captions and engaging text.
• Create strong opening hooks and maintain tight pacing across edits.
• Format videos for each platform (aspect ratio, length, safe zones).
• Edit long-form videos and webinars for repurposing into clips.
• Add simple motion graphics, lower thirds, and branded intros/outros.
• Adhere to brand guidelines and ensure fidelity to attorney content.
• Collaborate with Marketing Manager and organize project files for reuse.
