As we expand our footprint from California into new international markets — including Mexico and Latin America — we're looking for a Vice President for Sales who's ready to lead our regional growth, build distribution networks, and bring Fatback Jerky to more fans across borders.

Role Overview

The VP for Sales (Mexico) will spearhead Fatback Jerky's sales strategy and execution throughout Mexico and neighboring regions. This leader will build partnerships with distributors, retailers, and brokers, while driving brand visibility and sales performance across key channels including grocery, convenience, and specialty retail.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute a regional sales strategy for Mexico and Latin America.
  • Build and manage relationships with distributors, brokers, and key retail accounts.
  • Recruit, train, and lead a local sales team.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities in grocery, convenience, and specialty channels.
  • Negotiate distribution, pricing, and promotional programs with partners.
  • Collaborate with marketing and operations to align growth objectives with supply and brand direction.
  • Oversee trade spend and ensure profitable sales execution.
  • Represent Fatback Jerky at trade shows and regional industry events.
Qualifications
  • 8+ years of experience in sales leadership within the food, beverage, or snack industry.
  • Proven success in developing sales strategies and scaling distribution in Mexico or Latin America.
  • Strong existing network of retail and distributor contacts.
  • Deep understanding of regional retail, wholesale, and convenience markets.
  • Bilingual: English and Spanish (required).
  • Entrepreneurial mindset and ability to thrive in a fast-growing, dynamic company.
