Job summary

Ford of Mexico is seeking a Vehicle Distribution & Logistics Analyst to engage with dealers, carriers, railroads, and cross-functional teams to ensure damage-free vehicle delivery to final destinations.

You will hit KPIs for cost efficiency and dwell time, analyze data with BI dashboards, coordinate with partners, and lead initiatives such as automated inspections and process improvements to reduce risks and improve delivery performance. Hybrid work at GTBC in Naucalpan, Mexico.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, International Business, International Trade, Supply Chain Management, or related field.
• 3+ years of Materials/Planning & Logistics experience.
• Advance English skills.

Responsibilities

• Reduce vehicle transportation damage and dwell time while meeting cost targets.
• Analyze data and BI dashboards to identify trends and improvements.
• Coordinate with dealers, carriers, railways, ocean carriers, yard operators, and internal teams.
• Strengthen relationships with logistics partners and lead reviews.
• Improve the in-transit repair process with Plant Quality and Production.
• Conduct rail and carhaul load tests to identify shipping risks.
• Manage purchase orders, reinvoicing, NSAN vehicles, and coordination with the claims firm.
• Lead automated vehicle inspection projects and respond to dealer inquiries.
