A manufacturing company in Tecate seeks a Process Engineer to manage new product processes and the design of production line layouts. Responsibilities include providing technical support for smooth production and improving work instructions. Candidates should have at least 3 years of PIE work experience in large-scale EMS electronic or medical equipment, and should be proficient in English and Spanish. The role focuses on continuous improvement and teamwork, contributing to production quality and efficiency.

Formación

• At least 3 years of PIE work experience in large-scale EMS electronic or medical equipment.
• Proficient in using IE methods.
• At least 3 years of PIE experience in EMS/electronics or medical equipment.
• Strong teamwork abilities.

Responsabilidades

• Manage the introduction of new product processes and design production line layout.
• Provide technical support for product production to ensure smooth operations.
• Design and improve Work Instruction and Process Flow Chart Files.
• Design Work Instruction Files and Process Flow Chart Files.
• Apply Lean methods to improve line efficiency and product quality.
• Analyze causes of quality issues and implement preventive actions.
• Design and improve fixtures to enhance operator performance and quality.
• Provide product quotation services for customers.
• Utilize VTS, I4 and corporate tools.

Descripción del empleo

To ensure the correct industrialization of new process and products, implementation of new technologies and automatizations related, as well as output fulfilment vs planning requirements.

Responsibilities

• Manage the introduction of new product processes, design production line layout, and achieve production capacity (setting product working hours, determining and evaluating product production and capacity)
• Introduction of NPI new equipment, processes, and new products for mass production, including design improvement DFX suggestions during the preliminary review of new products
• Provide technical support for product production to ensure smooth production. Deliver Improvement and innovation of Process to enhance the automation level of production lines
• Design of Work Instruction Files (WI) and Process Flow Chart Files
• Continuous improvement using Lean method to improve production line lying down rate, improve production line efficiency, and enhance product quality
• Analyze the causes of quality issues that occur in the product, propose and take preventive improvement measures
• Design and improve fixtures to facilitate operator operation, improve production efficiency and product quality.
• Provide product quotation services for customers
• VTS, I4 and corporative tools.
