Job summary

Onetree is seeking an experienced UX/UI Designer to lead the design process from problem definition through implementation, collaborating closely with agile development teams. This on-site role is based in Polanco, CDMX, with responsibilities spanning end-to-end design, prototyping, research, and system design.

A minimum of 3 years of UX/UI experience and strong English skills are expected. Familiarity with Figma, FigJam, Miro, and TailwindCSS is a plus, as is a proactive, autonomous work style

Responsibilities

• End-to-End Design: design user-centered solutions balancing user impact, feasibility, and business goals.
• Prototyping & UI: create and maintain wireframes, user flows, and high-fidelity interactive prototypes.
• Visual Excellence: design accessible interfaces with pixel-perfect implementation alongside developers.
• Research & Discovery: participate in discovery processes, including business research, user interviews, and workshops.
• Validation: use qualitative and quantitative research to uncover needs, validate hypotheses, and conduct usability testing.
• Design Systems: design, document, and actively maintain scalable and reusable design systems.
• Cross-functional Collaboration: work across product, development, and other key teams.
• Experience: 3+ years of proven experience designing digital products.
• Tooling: proficiency with Figma, FigJam, Miro, and similar platforms.
• Core Skills: strong visual design, deep user empathy, and systems-thinking mindset.
