BOSCH MÉXICO is seeking an experienced UX Researcher/Designer to design and plan user research, synthesize findings, and develop service designs across diverse domains. The role emphasizes user-centered methods and collaboration with interdisciplinary teams across Bosch North America.

The ideal candidate has 7+ years in user design/research, strong qualitative methods knowledge, and proficiency in English (B2 minimum, C1 preferred). Travel up to 25% may be required.

Formación

  • Bachelor's Degree in a design discipline in combination with user-centered methods, sociology, anthropology, psychology
  • 7+ years' work experience in user design and/or research with user-centered processes
  • Excellent knowledge of qualitative research methods and usability evaluation
  • Basic quant survey experience is mandatory
  • Excellent project management skills
  • Experience in applying design thinking, facilitating workshops and design sprints
  • English proficiency: B2 minimum, C1 preferable

  • Drive deployment of best UX research practices within Bosch North America as part of the international UX community.
  • Educate and advocate for inclusive design and accessibility across the organization.
  • Offer UX/design instruction and coaching through courses, workshops, and consultations; act as UX ambassador.
  • Facilitate design thinking and UX ideation workshops for multiple business divisions.
  • Travel up to 25% domestically and/or internationally.

Job Description

Primary responsibility (75%)
  • Design and plan user research, synthesize research findings, and make research findings relevant and impactful for design
  • Develop leading-edge service designs for a wide spectrum of consumer, industrial, and automotive domains, applying a user-centered process in interdisciplinary teams, managing respective projects in these fields
Additional responsibilities (25%)
  • As an active member of the Bosch international UX community, drive the deployment and application of the state-of-the-art best UX research practices within Bosch North America
  • Educate and advocate for inclusive design, accessibility considerations, cross-cultural research and communication within the organization
  • Offer UX/design instruction and coaching through courses, workshops, and consultations. Be an ambassador for UX and design thinking within the organization
  • Facilitate design thinking and UX ideation workshops for multiple business divisions
  • Travel Expectation: up to 25% of the time domestically and/or internationally
Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in a design discipline in combination with user-centered methods, sociology, anthropology, psychology
  • 7+ years' work experience in user design and/or research, e.g., practice user-centered design process, plan and apply user research methodologies like ethnographic interviewing and testing of concepts, develop customer journey maps, service blueprints, design concepts, interaction guidelines based on relevant user insights, and usability evaluation
  • Excellent knowledge of a variety of qualitative research methods: participatory research design, interviews, diary studies, contextual inquiry, concept testing, etc.
  • Basic quant survey experience is mandatory
  • Excellent project management skills
  • Experience in applying design thinking principles, facilitating workshops, and design sprints
  • Work under time constraints on several tasks and projects simultaneously, as well as a marked ability to work in cross-functional teams
  • English proficiency: B2 minimum, C1 preferrable

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master7s Degree or PhD in a design discipline in combination with user-centered methods, sociology, anthropology, psychology, education, or related field of social science
  • Advanced quantitative methodologies such as Conjoint / Max-Diff would be a plus
  • Inclusive and Accessible Design experience
  • Strong experience in instructional design and teaching/education in UX or relevant field
  • Drive business impact through actionable recommendations and effective communication with stakeholders
  • AI research integration
  • Work experience in a successful product-oriented design agency and/or experience working with an industrial client base or comparable experience in a UX team of an established industrial company
