Vision Realty & Management is seeking a full-time Underwriting and Renewal Specialist to qualify applicants through Propertyware, perform background checks, gather necessary documents, and guide them through the approval process. You will update Propertyware with status changes and coordinate move-ins and renewals.

As part of the role, you will manage annual renewals, maintain strong relationships with owners and residents, and strive to achieve a renewal rate of 70% or higher.

Formación

• 3+ years of experience in real estate/leasing.
• Proven attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

• 3+ years of experience working in the real estate/leasing field
• Attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines
• Knowledge of MS Excel and Word
• Ability to learn company-specific, proprietary software applications
• Ability to work with minimal to moderate supervision
• Ability to work and communicate with people in varying disciplines with different backgrounds
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

YOUR ROLE

As an Underwriting and Renewal Specialist, your role is pivotal in ensuring a smooth and positive experience for both applicants and residents. You start by meticulously qualifying all applicants received through Propertyware and conducting thorough background checks. Following up with applicants, you gather necessary paperwork and guide them through the approval process, sending appropriate emails along the way. Your attention to detail ensures properties remain available for approved applicants as you diligently update Propertyware with status changes.

Once move-in dates are set, you coordinate with field services and leasing, sending out warm welcome letters and resident handbooks to new tenants. Beyond move-in, your responsibilities extend to managing annual renewals, maintaining a friendly rapport with owners and residents, and handling inquiries with professionalism and efficiency. Your dedication contributes to achieving a renewal rate of 70% or higher, demonstrating your commitment to resident satisfaction and retention!
