Job summary

FedEx Mexico City is hiring for a courier/driver role responsible for safe and efficient delivery and pickup of packages and documents. You will represent FedEx professionally, operate standard delivery vehicles, inspect shipments, and report on stop counts and mis-sorts.

Qualifications

• One year of experience driving 3.5 ton trucks
• Must possess appropriate license for vehicle assigned per country regulations
• Good driving record
• Must be 21 years old or older
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Basic English skills preferred

Responsibilities

• Provide courteous and efficient delivery and pickup of packages and documents.
• Operate non-articulated vehicles safely and in compliance with procedures.
• Inspect packages, report stop counts and miss-sorts.
• Seek additional business from existing customers and pass leads to sales.
• Answer customer questions about FedEx services and keep customers informed.
• Ensure proper labeling and complete paperwork for shipments.
• Manage paperwork for pickups and deliveries; ensure security of property and materials.
• Load/unload aircraft, containers and vehicles and operate ramp equipment.
