Ericsson Mexico City is seeking a detail-oriented Payments Associate to manage end-to-end payment execution, bank connectivity, and controls within our centralized Treasury framework. You will coordinate liquidity, validate payment data, and support risk controls to ensure accurate, timely disbursements.

The role emphasizes accuracy with numbers, Excel proficiency, and experience with ERP systems like Oracle, SAP or QuickBooks.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree required.
• 1 to 3 years of general office, data entry or bookkeeping experience.
• High accuracy and speed with numerical data.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and ERP/accounting systems like Oracle, Quickbooks or SAP.

Responsabilidades

• Payment execution — processing supplier, payroll, tax, intercompany, treasury and other payments.
• Bank connectivity — managing payment transmission through host-to-host connections, SWIFT, APIs or banking portals.
• Payment controls — ensuring payments follow authorization limits and approved policies.
• Payment validation — checking payment files, bank details, currencies and dates before release.
• Funding coordination — ensuring accounts have liquidity before payments are released.
• Payment scheduling — optimizing payment timing based on due dates and liquidity.
• Exception management — investigating rejected, returned or delayed payments.
• Fraud and risk controls — helping protect against unauthorized payments and bank-account changes.
• Bank account rationalization — supporting centralized banking and reducing local accounts.
• Reporting and reconciliation — monitoring payment status and supporting audit requirements.
