Overview

BorgWarner PowerDrive Systems is currently seeking a Treasurer to join our PowerDrive System business unit team. The Treasurer will be responsible for optimizing the management and use of the company's financial resources, as well as their control.

What we’re looking for
  • Education: Chartered Accountant, Bachelor's Degree in Administration or related field.
  • Experience: 2 years or more in a similar position.
  • Technical knowledge: Banking portals, cash flows, analytical skills, basic accounting knowledge, negotiation skills.
  • Other requirements: Microsoft Office, SAP, ERP.
Responsibilities
  • Ensure the availability of funds for domestic and international operations
  • Send and track payments via transfers, ACH, wires, and cheque payments
  • Identify rejected payments and identify the error to correct it
  • Download daily bank transactions and payment receipts
  • Review and upload bank statements to SAP
  • Notify and follow up on bank account maintenance such as: opening, closing, adding/removing signatories, etc.
  • Analyse periodic cash flows
  • Purchase and sale of foreign currency
  • Bank reconciliations
  • Maintain the corporate card programme (additions/removals, and follow up on balances and payment dates)
  • Compliance with tax and corporate regulations
  • Handling control and financial audits applicable to your area
  • Managing user registrations and cancellations in Concur, as well as the allocation of corporate cards
  • Preparing the monthly and annual cash flow plan
  • Acting as the contact between the company and the bank
