Job summary

Spellman High Voltage Electronics Corporation is seeking a Toolroom Technician in Matamoros, MX to supply tooling to Vipros/Laser, CNC Mill, CNC Lathe, Haas Router, and Thermwood machines and manage tooling according to inventory and production needs.

Responsibilities include mounting tools, maintaining stock, performing tool maintenance, and TOGU II stamping tasks to support efficient model changeovers and setup times.

Qualifications

• Completed technical or high school diploma.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in tooling or related role.
• Familiarity with measuring tools (vernier calipers, micrometers).
• Knowledge of Vipros/Laser AMADA tooling systems.

Responsibilities

• Supply tooling to Vipros/Laser, CNC Mill, CNC Lathe, Haas Router, and Thermwood machines according to the production plan.
• Mount tools in holders and adjust height for setup.
• Maintain, control and organize tool and fixture stock/inventory.
• Tool maintenance, sharpening and repair.
• TOGU II machine maintenance (stamping).
