Job summary

Spellman High Voltage Electronics Corporation is seeking a Tooling Specialist for our Matamoros, MX facility. The role focuses on supplying tools to Vipros/Laser, CNC Mill, CNC Lathe, Haas Router, and Thermwood machines, while managing stock and ensuring efficient changeovers.

Applicants should have a completed technical or high school diploma and at least 1 year of tooling experience, with strong knowledge of measuring tools and SHVWIP systems. Basic Office skills are required.

Qualifications

• Completed technical or high school diploma.
• Minimum of 1 year of tooling experience or similar position.
• Familiarity with measuring tools and equipment.
• Knowledge of SHVWIP system and drawing interpretation.

Responsibilities

• Review dispatch at shift changes and close orders using whiteboard.
• Check tools, fixtures, and measuring equipment at shift start/end.
• Supply tools to Vipros/Laser, CNC Mill/Lathe, Haas Router, Thermwood per production plan.
• Mount tools in holders and adjust height.
• Maintain and inventory tool/fixture stock.
• Perform tool maintenance, sharpening, and repair.
• Replace damaged tools and generate requisitions when needed.
