Groupe SEGULA Technologies SA in Mexico seeks a Tooling Design Engineer to design tools, jigs, fixtures, and poka-yokes for welding, assembly, and manufacturing areas. • CAD Design: Develop CAD designs for tools, jigs, and fixtures according to project requirements and timelines.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Team up with manufacturing, quality, and product engineering teams to review tool designs, construct prototypes, and validate repeatability and geometry.
• Material & Supply Management: Order and track the supply of tooling materials and equipment to ensure timely implementation, and organize/validate trial runs.
• Technical Documentation: Create technical documentation adhering to industry standards, with a strong focus on Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) regulations.
• Maintenance & Adaptation: Develop tooling maintenance schedules following TPM guidelines and perform process adaptations to streamline assembly lines.
• Stakeholder Interaction: Provide technical consulting to internal production, purchasing, and warehouse teams, as well as coordinate with external suppliers for materials and equipment testing.
