Mexicali RTX Corporation is seeking a Tooling Design Engineer to lead engineering documentation development for tool room projects in a manufacturing facility. The role requires hands-on manufacturing experience, GD&T expertise, and strong CAD skills.

Responsibilities include designing tool room components, supporting tool makers with tolerances and drawings, and collaborating on process improvements. Candidates should be willing to travel and have a Bachelor's in

Formación

• 5+ years of tooling or design experience.
• Lean manufacturing knowledge.
• GD&T expertise and drawing standards.
• SolidWorks proficiency required.
• Willingness to travel.

Responsabilidades

• Design development for tool room requirements, including drawings, materials, DFM analysis and validation after fabrication.
• Support tool makers on tolerances or specifications of drawings.
• Assist with machining processes (CNC, lathe, milling, surface grinder).
• Support tooling development for manufacturing improvements (fixtures, gauges, Poka-yoke).
• Coordinate with Sr. Planner for tool room performance evaluation.
• 5's management in tool room and training for tool makers.
