Copeland in Reynosa, Mexico is seeking a Tool Room Technician for onsite fabrication and maintenance of electrode components. You will set up CNC machines, operate turning and milling tools, and ensure precision with Vernier and micrometers.

Formación

• Technical degree in Machines & Tools or related field.
• 1-2 years experience in a tool room environment in manufacturing.
• Ability to read 2D/3D technical drawings and interpretation skills.
• Proficiency with measurement tools: Vernier, micrometer, caliper, optical comparator.

Responsabilidades

• Perform rework and fabrication of electrodes following company procedures.
• Follow safety controls for machine tools and PPE usage.
• Set up and operate CNC machines (lathe, milling, grinding) and conventional tools.
• Carry out preventive and corrective maintenance on tool room equipment.
• Manage tools, spare parts, consumables, and raw materials for part fabrication.

We seek professionals who share our vision of creating sustainable solutions that improve lives and protect the planet, today and for future generations.We are looking for your talent, join our team and start your journey today!**Principales Responsabilidades**•Realizar el proceso de retrabajo y fabricación de electrodos siguiendo los procedimiento establecidos por la empresa.•Seguir los controles de seguridad requeridos por los procesos de uso y manejo de Maquinas y herramientas, así como los controles requeridos por la empresa en las diferentes areas de trabajo.•Uso obligatorio de EPP requerido en cualquier area de trabajo.•Realizar los procedimientos de inicio de turno de acuerdo a la documentación establecida, TPM.•Realizar los procesos de manufactura como lo indican los procedimientos establecidos.•Realizar mantenimiento preventivo y correctivo en máquinas del area de Tool room y a partes de máquinas, fixtures y dispositivos de producción que lo requieran.•Operar maquinaria convencional y CNC (torno, fresadora, rectificadora) para fabricar o reparar componentes. Realizar el Setup necesario en máquinas CNC para la fabricación o reparación de componentes. Supervisar el proceso de las maquinas CNC mientras se ejecutan las operaciones de corte.•Mantener las maquinas en buen estado de funcionamiento.•Medir y verificar piezas utilizando instrumentos avanzados como calibrador vernier, micrómetros e indicadores de carátula, comparador óptico.•Realizar, en tiempo y forma, las actividades requeridas por los usuarios.•Administrar y registrar herramientas, refacciones críticas, consumibles del área y materia prima para fabricación de piezas.**Requisitos del Perfil**•Carrera técnica terminada en Máquinas y Herramientas, Mecatrónica, Mecánica Industrial o afín.•De 1 a 2 años trabajando en un taller de herramientas (*Tool Room*) dentro de la industria maquiladora o de manufactura.•Habilidad en lectura e interpretación de planos técnicos 2D/3D.•Dominio de instrumentos de medición (Vernier, micrometro, pie de rey, comparador optico).•Uso de máquinas herramienta (Centro de maquinado CNC, Torno CNC, torno convencional, fresadora convencional, rectificadora, sierra de cinta, Cierra circular).•Conocimiento en soldadura o ajuste mecánico.•Conocimiento en programación de máquinas CNC con control Fanuc.•Uso de software de Diseño.**Our Commitment to Our People**Across the globe, we are united by a singular Purpose: Sustainability is no small ambition.
