Advanced Energy is seeking a Tool Maker III to design, build, repair, and maintain precision tooling used in manufacturing. You will fabricate tools, troubleshoot issues, and ensure accuracy through GD&T and meticulous documentation.

Role requires 3–5 years in tool making or precision machining, with CNC programming and manual machining skills. Collaboration with engineers and QA is essential, while safety and organization are emphasized.

Formación

• Education required: technical diploma or certification in Tool & Die Making, Machining, or related field.
• 3–5 years of tool making or precision machining experience.
• Proficient with CNC programming and manual machining, GD&T knowledge.

Responsabilidades

• Tool Fabrication: Manufacture, assemble, and finish tools, dies, and fixtures according to engineering specifications and blueprints.
• Maintenance & Repair: Inspect, troubleshoot, and repair worn or damaged tools to restore functionality.
• Precision Machining: Operate CNC machines, lathes, grinders, and other equipment to achieve tight tolerances.
• Quality Assurance: Verify dimensions and tolerances using precision measuring instruments (micrometers, calipers, gauges).
• Documentation: Maintain accurate records of tool designs, modifications, and maintenance activities.
• Collaboration: Work closely with engineers, production teams, and quality control to ensure tooling supports manufacturing requirements.
• Safety Compliance: Follow all safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized work area.

The Tool Maker III is responsible for designing, building, repairing, and maintaining precision tools, dies, jigs, and fixtures used in manufacturing processes. This role ensures that all tooling meets quality standards, supports production efficiency, and complies with safety regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Tool Fabrication: Manufacture, assemble, and finish tools, dies, and fixtures according to engineering specifications and blueprints.
• Maintenance & Repair: Inspect, troubleshoot, and repair worn or damaged tools to restore functionality.
