Corning Inc. in Reynosa is seeking a skilled technician to perform equipment build, installation and ramp-up activities, and to support testing and data collection to resolve manufacturing issues.

You will collaborate with engineers to validate testing and integration of equipment, drive cost reduction and yield improvements, and ensure adherence to safety and environmental procedures. Travel up to 50% may be required to Corning locations and vendor sites.

Formación

• Technical degree required in a relevant field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in similar roles.
• Reads blueprints and/or drawings.
• Willingness to travel 25–50% domestically and internationally.

Responsabilidades

• Performs equipment build, installation and ramp-up activities.
• Plans and conducts equipment acceptance tests.
• Collects data from manufacturing processes to help resolve issues.
• Collaborates with engineers on testing and integration of equipment.
• Works on projects to reduce costs, downtime and defects and to increase yields.
• Guides front-line teams to follow safety, SOPs and environmental regulations.
