Job summary

Johnson Controls is seeking a Test Engineer to develop, implement, and execute test plans for software applications and systems. You will design automated tests, perform functional and performance testing, and work closely with developers and product managers to ensure quality and performance.

Minimum 3-5 years of software testing experience, strong knowledge of testing methodologies and tools, and proficiency in Java, Python, or C#.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and execute test plans, cases, and scripts for software applications and systems.
• Design and develop automated test scripts using various testing frameworks.
• Conduct functional, integration, and performance testing on software and systems.
• Collaborate with developers and product managers to understand requirements and enhance system functionality.
• Document test results, track defects, and work with the development team to resolve issues.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.
