Corning seeks a Test and Qualification Technician Jr to support laboratory testing activities for optical telecommunications products, including verification, qualification, and reliability testing. This hands-on role suits someone who follows procedures carefully and is motivated to learn in a structured lab environment.

You will work with sample handling, equipment setup, measurements, and documentation while maintaining safety and accuracy.

Qualifications

• Technical Associate’s degree (TSU) required.
• Previous experience in electronics, fiber optics, or other technical hands‑on work is a plus.
• Ability to use test and measurement equipment in a laboratory or technical environment.
• Ability to follow documented procedures accurately and complete tasks within established timelines.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to adapt to changing priorities.
• Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

Responsabilités

• Document test results, support basic data analysis, and help maintain laboratory reports and records
