The University of Hong Kong invites applications for appointment as Tenure-Track Clinical Professor (several posts) in the Department of Obstetrics and Gynaecology, School of Clinical Medicine (Ref.: 532420).

Position type: Full‑time, four‑year fixed‑term basis with possibility of renewal and consideration for tenure before the expiry of a second four‑year term. Exceptionally outstanding candidates may be considered for appointment on tenure terms.

Eligibility & Qualification Requirements

• Specialist registration with the Medical Council of Hong Kong or eligibility to apply to the Hong Kong Academy of Medicine for the Certification of Specialist Registration.
• Other higher academic qualifications (MD, MS, PhD).
• Distinguished and sustained record of high‑quality impactful research (basic science, translational and/or clinical).
• Demonstrated clinical excellence.
• International recognition for scholarship and professional expertise.
• Outstanding and consistent record in teaching and learning, knowledge exchange, services and administration.
• Preference for those with demonstrated administrative leadership and management experience in universities or healthcare settings.

Role and Responsibilities

• Ensure the highest standards of quality across all aspects of teaching, research and clinically oriented activities.
• Promote academic collaboration both within and outside the Faculty and University.
• Explore new strategic directions for the further development of the Department.

Compensation and Benefits

• Highly competitive salary commensurate with qualifications and experience.
• Annual leave and medical benefits; salary tax does not exceed 15% of gross income.
• Contract‑end gratuity and University contribution to a retirement benefits scheme, totalling up to 15% of basic salary.
• Monthly cash allowance.
