Medline is seeking an experienced maintenance technician to support facility operations in Nuevo Laredo. The role requires hands-on work across HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and fire systems to ensure uninterrupted building operations.

You will perform repairs, install fixtures, and oversee small projects while maintaining comprehensive logs and documentation. Applicants should have a minimum of 3 years in building maintenance, a high school diploma, and be willing to work weekends or overtime as

Qualifikationen

• Minimum high school diploma or equivalent.
• At least 3 years of general building maintenance experience.
• Experience with HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and fire systems.
• Valid Illinois driver’s license.

Aufgaben

• Complete and respond to all assigned work orders, trouble calls, and emergency maintenance calls.
• Maintain accurate records of operating logs for fire pumps, generators, HVAC equipment, and other tested systems.
• Perform repairs and facility support tasks such as light bulb/ballast replacement, door repairs, furniture installation, ceiling tile replacement, and maintaining operation logs.
• Perform carpentry duties including painting, caulking, installing drywall, and shelving.
• Perform plumbing repairs such as unclogging drains, installing fixtures, and replacing internal components.
• Oversee projects including minor renovations, inventory management, contractor oversight, and building efficiency improvements.
• Perform other duties as assigned or as needed.

Job Description

• Complete and respond to all assigned work orders, trouble calls, and emergency maintenance calls.
• Maintain accurate record of all operating logs for fire pumps, generators, HVAC equipment, and other facility systems that are tested on a routine basis
• Perform repairs and facility support tasks. Tasks include, but are not limited to, light bulb/ballast replacement, door repairs, furniture installation, ceiling tile replacement, and maintaining operation logs.
• Perform carpentry duties such as painting, caulking, installing drywall, and installing shelving.
• Perform plumbing repairs such as unclogging drains, installing fixtures, and replacing internal components.
• Oversee projects as assigned. Projects will include minor space renovations, inventory management, contractor oversight, and building efficiency improvements.
• Perform other duties as assigned or as necessity dictates.

Education

• High School Diploma or equivalent.

Work Experience

• At least 3 years of general building maintenance experience.
• Experience applying knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and fire systems.
• Valid Illinois driver's license.
• Willing to work weekends or other overtime hours as business needs dictate.
