Medline Industries, LP is seeking a skilled facilities maintenance technician to join our team in Nuevo Laredo. You will respond to work orders, troubleshoot issues, and keep logs for critical building systems to ensure reliable operations.

Responsibilities include repairs, carpentry, plumbing, electrical tasks, and overseeing small renovation projects. A high school diploma and 3+ years of maintenance experience are required; weekend/overtime work may be requested.

Formación

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 3+ years of general building maintenance experience.
• Experience with HVAC, plumbing, electrical and fire systems.
• Valid Illinois driver's license.
• Willing to work weekends or overtime as needed.

Responsabilidades

• Respond to work orders, trouble calls, and emergencies.
• Maintain logs for fire pumps, generators, HVAC, and tested systems.
• Perform repairs and facility support tasks (lighting, doors, furniture, ceilings).
• Carpentry work: painting, caulking, drywall, shelving.
• Plumbing repairs: unclog drains, fixtures, components.
• Oversee projects including renovations, inventory, contractor oversight, efficiency improvements.
• Other duties as assigned.

Job Description

Responsibilities

• Complete and respond to all assigned work orders, trouble calls, and emergency maintenance calls.
• Maintain accurate record of all operating logs for fire pumps, generators, HVAC equipment, and other facility systems that are tested on a routine basis
• Perform repairs and facility support tasks. Tasks include, but are not limited to, light bulb/ballast replacement, door repairs, furniture installation, ceiling tile replacement, and maintaining operation logs.
• Perform carpentry duties such as painting, caulking, installing drywall, and installing shelving.
• Perform plumbing repairs such as unclogging drains, installing fixtures, and replacing internal components.
• Oversee projects as assigned. Projects will include minor space renovations, inventory management, contractor oversight, and building efficiency improvements.
• Perform other duties as assigned or as necessity dictates.

Required Experience

Education

• High School Diploma or equivalent.

Work Experience

• At least 3 years of general building maintenance experience.
• Experience applying knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and fire systems.
• Valid Illinois driver's license.
• Willing to work weekends or other overtime hours as business needs dictate.
