Advanced Technology Services, Inc. is seeking a Maintenance Technician with PLC experience to diagnose and repair electromechanical systems at our Monterrey site. You will modify PLC programs, configure HMIs, and support startup and commissioning of presses and other equipment.

The role requires reading electrical diagrams, fault finding, and ensuring safe, compliant control installations. Join a collaborative team with strong growth opportunities.

Formación

• Experience in maintenance of electromechanical systems and PLC control.
• Familiarity with PLC programming and HMI configuration preferred.
• Ability to read electrical diagrams and perform troubleshooting.

Responsabilidades

• Diagnose and troubleshoot PLC-based control systems and electrical faults.
• Modify and optimize PLC programs and HMI screens to monitor equipment.
• Verify digital/analog signals, sensors and actuators for correct operation.
• Provide electrical/automation support during machine start-up and commissioning.
• Review wiring and I/O modules; ensure safe, compliant control installations.

TÉCNICO EN MANTENIMIENTO III - PLC

BUSCAMOS TU EXPERIENCIA EN:

• Diagnosticar y solucionar fallas en sistemas eléctricos de control utilizando PLC Allen-Bradley.
• Modificar y optimizar programas PLC y pantallas HMI para monitorear y corregir fallas del equipo.
• Verificar y ajustar señales eléctricas digitales y analógicas, sensores, actuadores y dispositivos de control.
• Brindar soporte eléctrico y de automatización durante la puesta en marcha de prensas.
• Revisar y corregir cableado, módulos de entradas/salidas y comunicaciones entre PLC, HMI y equipos periféricos.
• Controlar y ajustar sistemas de temperatura integrados al PLC.
• Gestionar respaldos de programas y configuraciones de PLC y HMI para garantizar la recuperación ante fallas.
• Documentar cambios eléctricos, lógicos y acciones correctivas, asegurando el cumplimiento de los estándares de seguridad industrial.

REQUISITOS:

• Bachillerato, Técnico Superior TSU Electromecánica Industrial, Mantenimiento Industrial, Mantenimiento en Sistemas Electrónicos, Máquinas y Herramientas, Mecatrónica, Mecánica, Electricidad, Electrónica
• Ingeniero en Mecatrónica, Electrónica, Mecánica, Mantenimiento Industrial, Electricidad (deseable)

CONOCIMIENTOS:

• Lectura de diagramas neumáticos e hidráulicos avanzado

Our maintenance technicians have 2 paths they can take. They can stay on a technical path or a leadership path. On the technical path, we have 5 different technical levels based on experience. This is the progression in order associate maintenance technician, maintenance technician I, maintenance technician II, maintenance technician senior, and maintenance technician specialist. We have a technician progression program that allows technicians starting out in their craft to progress to mid level technician after 3 years. This program is for employees coming in as an associate technician or a technician. We focus on their technical development through the 70-20-10 learning model. We have our Skill Point training product to support them along the way. For all of our maintenance technicians, we require them to take an annual technical assessment. From this assessment and weighing in other factors, they have a development plan put in place in order to align them with their long and short term career aspirations.
