Medtronic in Tijuana, Baja California, Mexico, is seeking an onsite Technician to install, service, and repair manufacturing equipment. This role requires hands-on maintenance expertise and the ability to diagnose faults, document work, and estimate costs for parts and labor.

Formación

• Requires working knowledge of systems, techniques, tools and procedures.
• Requires 1+ years of relevant technical experience.
• No minimum education requirement.
• Some countries/jobs may require vocational training and/or certification.

Responsabilidades

• Install, maintain and repair manufacturing equipment on-line or at the plant.
• Locate and diagnose faults, replace defective components and perform basic troubleshooting with standard electronics equipment and schematics.
• Maintain records of maintenance and repair activities.
• Use a variety of hand, electrical and testing tools and equipment.
• Redesign systems (optical, vacuum, electrical, electronic or mechanical) for incorporation into existing manufacturing equipment.
• Estimate labor and equipment costs and prepare requisitions as needed.
• Knowledge of electrical control.
