Haemonetics Interventional Technologies in Tijuana, MX seeks a Maintenance Mechanic I to maintain equipment, buildings, and facilities. You will purchase parts, communicate with leads and management, and support production by diagnosing and repairing a variety of machines.

The role requires at least 1 year of maintenance experience in a production setting, with preference for medical device manufacturing exposure and a technical certification.

Formación

• H.S. Diploma or equivalent required.
• Associate's Degree or technical certification preferred.
• 1 year of maintenance mechanic experience in a production environment required.
• Experience in a medical device manufacturing environment preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Diagnose, troubleshoot and repair production equipment to minimize downtime.
• Observe machines and solicit information from operators to locate problems.
• Verify effectiveness of repairs and ensure products meet specifications.
• Perform preventive maintenance per schedule and document activities.
• Provide maintenance support to production by communicating with operators, engineering and management.
• Fabricate new fixtures or modifications to existing equipment as needed.
• Identify safety hazards and implement improvements for a safe workplace.
