Una empresa de soluciones tecnológicas en Aguascalientes busca un Técnico de Laboratorio Metalúrgico. Serás responsable de inspeccionar materiales y preparar informes metalúrgicos. Los candidatos deben tener título en ingeniería metalúrgica y experiencia en control de calidad. El puesto requiere habilidades analíticas y conocimiento de procesos metalúrgicos. Se valora experiencia en la industria manufacturera y uso de herramientas estadísticas.

Formación

  • Experiencia previa en industria manufacturera.
  • Conocimiento de tratamientos térmicos y microestructuras.
  • Experiencia en equipos de medición y dureza.

Responsabilidades

  • Inspeccionar materiales del proceso y validar aprobaciones.
  • Preparar informes metalúrgicos.
  • Apoyar la configuración de laboratorios de inspección.

Eaton’s IS VEH VGNA division is currently seeking a Técnico de Laboratorio Metalúrgico.

What you’ll do:

The metallurgical technician is responsible for inspecting material that comes from the process and validates approvals through data.

The metallurgical technician is responsible for analyzing, supporting the validation of PPAPs and special analyses, metallurgical reports that are requested.

The metallurgical technician is responsible for adjusting inspection equipment and verification of destructive and non destructive testing (ultrasound, Eddy current, bent test, x rays, penetrating liquids, duromet er , micro hardness, to keep the database updated in accordance with its releases and its corresponding data.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
  • Provide quality support and guidance on all equipment installs, runoffs, PPAP’s, and start of production ramp up. Including MSA’s calibrated equipment’s, process control plans, etc.
  • Prepare metallurgical reports.
  • Supporting the setup of site gaging and inspection labs.
  • Developing site quality documentation and supporting certifications.
  • Provide technical quality support to both internal customers and suppliers as needed.
  • Responsible to administer laboratory equipment, measurement instruments, and proper order and 5s´s in the metallurgical laboratory.
  • Participate in production improvement meetings to provide a support function.
  • Responsible for the management system of metallurgical laboratory equipment
  • Responsible of calibration services of instrumental and measurement equipment within the laboratory scope
  • Audit production lines to verify instruments within calibration period. Receive and send equipment to external calibration services, help in develop and continuous work of calibration annual plan.
  • Comply with the annual full layout program
  • Maintenance of laboratory equipment
  • Interpret drawing and technical document of customer
  • Verify pieces used in setup and change over
  • Administrate and review document and report of external
Qualifications:
  • Engineer metallurgical or materials degree from an accredited institution
  • Great communication skills
  • Good analytical and problem solving skills
  • Knowledge of metallurgical process control methodology
  • Ability to effectively use Power Point, Excel, Office
  • Metallurgical Laboratory
  • Experience in Measurement Equipment and hardness.
  • Geometrical Tolerance and Critical Characteristic
  • Knowledge of microstructures
  • Knowledge of the use of reactive chemicals
  • Knowledge in heat treatments
  • Knowledge in micro and macro hardness
  • Prior experience working in a manufacturing industry
  • Prior experience with IATF, ISO 9001 2015
  • Prior experience with Quality Core Tools of APQP, MSA, PFMEA, PPAP and SPC
  • Prior experience with statistical software (ex. Minitab)
  • Knowledge of manufacturing processes, assembly processes, equipment technology, and equipment capability
