Job summary

Jabil is seeking a manufacturing-organization technical lead to support assembly procedures, ensure quality and efficiency, and help introduce new products and prototypes on the production floor.

You will break down customer documents for manufacturing, provide guidance to assembly teams, interpret drawings, and coordinate with engineering on tools, routes, and data in SAP/QM modules. A strong communicator with problem-solving skills is essential.

• Ability to effectively present information to groups of managers, clients, customers, and the public.
• Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
• Proficiency with Windows OS and related software; advanced PC skills.

Responsibilities

• Provides primary liaison support between engineering and manufacturing for transfer of customer documents to manufacturing process.
• Provides technical leadership to manufacturing personnel.
• Interprets assembly drawings and collaborates with production to create work instructions.
• Assists in selecting tools and processes for assembly; establishes routing requirements and data entry into QM Module.
• Implements correct status entry into SAP and trains staff on manufacturing processes and equipment.
• Supports transition of new products and prototypes to the floor for specific equipment lines.
• Reviews labor standards for costing and quoting; assists in up-front planning for assembly instructions.
• Supports ECO, ECR, BOM updates and issue resolution; orders stencils per circuit design guidelines.
