Job summary

Flex in Mexico is seeking a Facilities Technician - Pneumatics in Aguascalientes to support production by ensuring continuous operation of compressed air systems and related equipment.

Reporting to the Facilities Engineer, you will perform preventive and corrective maintenance on air compressors, dryers, filters, and vacuum pumps, monitor parameters, and coordinate with external vendors as needed.

Qualifications

• Technical degree in Electromechanics, Industrial Mechanics or related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience with industrial pneumatic systems.
• Experience with rotary screw and reciprocating air compressors.
• Experience with industrial vacuum pumps.
• Knowledge of refrigerated and desiccant dryers.
• Knowledge of basic instrumentation.
• Ability to detect and analyze leaks.
• Knowledge of monitoring and control systems.
• Availability to work shifts.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on air compressors.
• Carry out maintenance on industrial vacuum pumps.
• Monitor compressed air pressure, flow, and quality parameters.

What a typical day looks like:

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on air compressors.
• Carry out maintenance on industrial vacuum pumps.
• Monitor compressed air pressure, flow, and quality parameters.
• Perform maintenance on dryers, filters, and storage tanks.
• Detect and repair leaks in pneumatic systems.
• Maintain compressed air distribution networks.
• Conduct basic energy efficiency analyses of compressors.
• Verify the operation of valves, actuators, and pneumatic components.
• Coordinate specialized services with external vendors.
• Respond to emergencies involving pneumatic and vacuum systems.
• Maintain operation and maintenance records.
• Participate in energy optimization projects.

The experience we're looking to add to our team:
