Cummins in Nuevo León seeks an entry-level Quality Assurance Associate to ensure products meet technical specs on the production line under close supervision. You will assist with final quality checks and document deviations as needed.

Responsibilities include verifying component and material characteristics, identifying defects, and supporting containment actions while adhering to company quality norms and regulatory requirements. Training provided.

Formación

• High school diploma or equivalent required or equivalent experience.
• May require licensing for export controls or sanctions regulations.
• Minimal or no work experience required.

Job Summary:

Ensures products received or produced meet technical specifications. Works under close supervision.

Key Responsibilities:

Assists with verification of the final quality of products on the production line. Compares the physical characteristics of components, materials, equipment and products to technical specifications to identify defects. Separates products that do not have the desired technical specification, using basic measurement techniques and equipment. Documents products that do not meet technical specifications using specified systems. Follows the norms and standards of quality defined by the company.

Education, Licenses, Certifications:

• High school diploma or certificate of completion of secondary education or equivalent experience to the extent such experience meets applicable regulations.
• This position may require licensing for compliance with export controls or sanctions regulations.

Experience:

• Minimal or no work experience required.
• Asegurar la liberación del producto y/o detener la continuidad de producción fuera del plan de control
• Implementar y dar seguimiento a las contenciones requeridas ante un problema de calidad y generar alerta de calidad ademas de difundirla.
• Verificar que la información técnica este actualizada para cumplir con el sistema de calidad
• Mantener información actualizada del material no conforme y asegurar la no utilización
• Cumplir con los reglamentos de seguridad, medio ambiente y procesos de mejora
