A leading aerospace company in Querétaro is seeking a Quality Assurance Technologist to enhance inspection programs and ensure compliance with engineering standards. The ideal candidate will hold a relevant engineering degree and possess 1-5 years of experience in dimensional inspection, particularly with tubes. Formación

  • 1 to 5 years of experience performing Dimensional inspection, preferable on tubes.
  • 1 to 3 years experience using PolyWorks and Calypso.

  • Create, validate and improve the inspection program for each part to evaluate.
  • Inspect parts or assemblies in accordance with engineering and manufacturing requirements.
  • Lead improvement quality projects.

Educación

Contributions to the team
  • Create, validate and improve the inspection program for each part to evaluate.
  • Inspect parts or assemblies in accordance with engineering and manufacturing requirements.
  • Perform precision and accuracy on dimensional reports
  • Perform data analysis using SCP (Statistical Control Process)
  • Lead the feedback and collaborate with manufacturing and engineering on data analysis for each part measured.
  • Ensure manual and internal calibrations using accessories per method required
  • Coordinate with Quality inter-site the follow up for corrective actions.
  • Customer queries (Internal and External)
  • Participate and ensure NCRs follow up on system
  • Lead improvement quality projects
  • Promote, work and is role model on 5S
  • Participate on design of checking fixtures
  • Provide the necessary support to the areas in order to improve the quality
Skills, knowledge & experience
  • You have a bachelor’s degree in Aeronautical, Electric, Mechanical, Industrial or Electro-mechanics Engineering.
  • You have advanced English level
  • You have 1 to 5 years of experience performing Dimensional inspection, preferable on tubes.
  • You have 1 to 3 years experience using: PolyWorks, Calypso
  • You have strong GD&T knowledge
  • You have experience working with Core Tools (MSA, SPC)
  • You have experience with numeric control equipment: Leica, Arm or CMM
