Scania Nederland B.V. Mexico is looking for a diligent maintenance technician to support technicians in vehicle maintenance or repair, ensure correct stamping of work, and maintain process flow by communicating when tasks are finished.

The role requires a high school, preparatory or technical degree and at least one year in a similar position, plus knowledge of Scania products and services and familiarity with DOS, DCS, SRS, and SHE standards.

JOB DESCRIPTION

Ensure customer satisfaction through preventive maintenance tasks, while learning the profession and developing skills to achieve more complex maintenance and repairs, complying with all safety standards in the workshop.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Ensure support to technicians for vehicle maintenance or repair.
• Guarantee the correct stamping of the work being performed.
• Ensure process flow by communicating that the work has been finished.
• Achieve the implementation of improvement proposals.

TASKS

• Check availability of tools and parts to be used, retrieve them from the warehouse.
• Check availability of maintenance information.
• Ensure application of work methods.
• Perform visual inspections of the vehicle.
• Manage any deviations that arise.
• Wash parts and components.
• Start the work order.
• Prepare the vehicle or component.
• Search for information in the system.
• Perform maintenance.
• Clean the work area and return used tools.
• Communicate to the workshop manager that the assignment is finished.
• Propose solutions.
• Follow up on established improvement plans.

EDUCATION
